The speakers:
1.  Professor Graham Matthews (Liverpool John Moores University)
'Disaster management - current issues'
 Professor Matthews is leading an AHRC funded project 
(ongoing), "Safeguarding heritage at risk: disaster management in 
libraries and archives."

2.   Linda Butt (De Montfort University)
‘Practical disaster recovery training’ 
Linda will talk about the sessions in disaster management that she runs at 
DMU. Her talk will be supported by photographs of the events.

The Disaster Management event will be preceded by the AGM of the East 
Midlands branch of UC&R Group.  Members of the East Midlands UC&R Group 
are welcome to attend the AGM free of charge.  It will last approximately 
30 minutes.

The venue
The meetings will be held in the Sparkenhoe and Goscote Room, 4th floor, 
Charles Wilson Building, University of Leicester which seats up to 30 
delegates. There is full disabled access to the building.

The University is located just outside Leicester city centre, close to 
main roads, with easy access to the M1 and M69. It is a 15 minute walk to 
the railway station. Public car parks are located a few minutes away.  We 
regret there is no on-campus parking.
