Birmingham Re-Usable Materials (BRUM) Project

Sponsored by the Eduserv Foundation, the aim of this project is to develop 15 electronic

re-usable learning objects (RLOs) to aid student’s information skills then explore academics’ and students’ perception and use of the learning objects as they are embedded into the curriculum.

The project team, based at the University of Birmingham, have set up a website to host the learning objects (http://www.is.bham.ac.uk/blasst_brum.htm) and a blog as a record of the project and discussion point (http://brumproject.blogspot.com).

We are interested in hearing from anyone who is currently undertaking any similar projects particularly those involving working closely with academics to embed training.
