----- STOP PRESS: Internet Detective back on the case ------

Internet Detective, an eLearning tutorial that teaches critical evaluation
of information found on the Internet, is being resurrected, revamped and
revived and is soon to be officially back on the case!

The tutorial will be launched on June 13th 2006 at this URL:
http://www.vts.intute.ac.uk/detective/

Internet Detective will be freely available for anyone to use via the RDN
Virtual Training Suite (under the new Intute branding from 13th July 2006) 
and has been developed in collaboration with the HEFCE Learn Higher project 
(funded under CETL) with additional funding from the Higher Education 
Academy Subject Centre for Information and Computer Sciences.

Librarians will get a sneak preview of the tutorial at LILAC 2006
(Librarians' Information Literacy Annual Conference) 27th-29th March 2006:
(Parallel Session 4 (short papers) Tuesday 28th March, 3.15pm - 4.15pm)
