Emerald is currently the largest participant in Eduserv CHEST, with both the largest number of available journals, databases and datasets, and the most popular datasets. Eduserv CHEST is a not-for-profit organization, which negotiates agreements between commercial suppliers of electronic resources and education, academic and research communities throughout the UK and in many European locations. CHEST then manages the agreements, using its resultant ‘buying power’ and huge amount of experience for the benefit of all parties. The discovery tools or databases which can be provided through CHEST, number over 300, in categories as diverse as Agriculture, Business Management, Engineering, Education and Law. Emerald’s journals, databases, and search tools are currently the largest participants in CHEST, and are the most popular datasets. Emerald currently has 124 datasets available through CHEST, which will increase to over 135 by the end of 2007. These datasets are provided through Emerald Abstracts, Emerald Fulltext, Emerald Management reviews and others.
