This one-day training seminar, one of a series organised by UKSG and Project
COUNTER, will give a practical hands-on introduction to accessing,
collating, utilising, presenting, and marketing e-resource usage statistics,
both COUNTER-compliant and otherwise. The latest news on COUNTER activities
will also be presented, and experts from different sectors will provide
their perspectives on the role and importance of usage statistics. Future
developments in the provision and exploitation of use measurement statistics
will also be covered.

Please note: To allow participants hands-on experience, attendance at this
training seminar will be limited to 30. UKSG and COUNTER plan to run other
training seminars on this topic, with sessions in Edinburgh and Oxford to be
offered this autumn.

Those attending are invited to consult the Project COUNTER website
(www.projectcounter.org <http://www.projectcounter.org/> ) in advance,
although the COUNTER Codes, etc. will be fully covered during the seminar.
