** Apologies for Cross-Posting ** UK Serials Group, in association with Project COUNTER are pleased to announce the second-running of this very popular seminar: Usage Statistics Training Seminar Tuesday 27 June 2006 The University of Manchester The course will also run on 19 September in Edinburgh, and 30 November in Oxford – full details on these dates will be announced in due course. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This one-day training seminar, one of a series organised by UKSG and Project COUNTER, will give a practical hands-on introduction to accessing, collating, utilising, presenting, and marketing e-resource usage statistics, both COUNTER-compliant and otherwise. The latest news on COUNTER activities will also be presented, and experts from different sectors will provide their perspectives on the role and importance of usage statistics. Future developments in the provision and exploitation of use measurement statistics will also be covered. Please note: To allow participants hands-on experience, attendance at this training seminar will be limited to 30.
