Hi Kathy
Very rarely do I unfurl the politically correct banner, but I really must take issue with your use of the term 'Third World'. This is terribly out of date now, having been coined during the 'Cold War' era. The most PC terms in use at the moment (in my opinion) are 'Developing Countries' or 'Developing Nations'

Wikipedia defines it thus

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Third_World

Sorry to be so up myself but....hey ho.
best wishes
Shan

Subject: Donating journals to the Third World

Dear Colleagues

Does anyone know of any charities or organisations etc. who collect journals for the Third World?
One of our physiotherapists wants her collection to go to a good home.

Many thanks,
Kathy Turtle
