Dear all Without seeing the original request to the CLA it is difficult to comment - but I repeat what I said in my email of late last week - that as far as I'm aware copying is allowed: - by an individual under fair dealing - by a librarian - in a not for profit organisation - under the librarian privileges - as long as you obtain a signed declaration. It seems to imply that we shouldn't be supplying any photocopies to anyone at the moment. Can we have some clarification of this immediately please? As a result we are unable to licence you and you must not make any copies of this or other materials covered by the CLA Licence, without first obtaining the direct and explicit agreement of the publisher. Negotiations with Ben Toth, Director of the NHS National Knowledge Service, have been ongoing for several months to agree a basis for renewing the licence but so far have been unsuccessful.
