Dear all

I wonder if I can mine your collective wisdom?

I am currently writing materials for the new Centre for Career
Management Skills website, which will provide resources for careers
education across the HE sector. I have got stuck on a page where I am
encouraging students to record their current
experiences/achievements/aims for the future and wanted to give them
some links to web resources on PDP (or similar) aimed at students. The
idea of these links is that they might give the students ideas on what
to do and how to go about it, as well as enthusing (some of) them.

However, I've been unable so far to find anything on the web which is
aimed at students about PDP/similar activities but which isn't
institutionally based. There seems to be a lot of information aimed at
academic staff, but none for students. Does anyone have any good ideas
for such web pages? They don't have to be labeled PDP - in fact I can
even imagine a good page on blogging or similar might work. I just want
some nice examples of what you might do if you wanted to keep records of
your experiences/study, and perhaps some examples of positive
experiences.

Thanks for reading. Please reply to me off-list if you can help and if
there are lots of good ideas, I will repost a full response to the list.
