Dear all

A plea for some help before Easter! I am doing some research into different
types of support structures available at different HEIs to inform our
creation of a new Learner Development Unit at Bradford.

In particular I am interested in the types of roles that people working
within this area have i.e. the type of student interaction, focus of role,
whether you are School/Department/Faculty based or University wide, how
students access the service (self refer, staff referred etc). I am also
particularly interested in the type of staff who are employed i.e. academic,
academic related, admin, other etc. We are expecting our unit to employ
three different grades of staff (Grade 9 manager role, Grade 8 adviser roles
and an admin role; the grades relate to HERA roles).

I know I could probably glean a lot of this information from websites but
frankly I am too lazy ;-) Please reply off-list and I will collate replies
:-)

Many thanks and Happy Easter!
