In order for this to work I changed the following two lines in /opt/bdii/etc/bdii.conf: SLAPD=/opt/openldap/libexec/slapd SLAPADD=/opt/openldap/sbin/slapadd And path to core.schema in /opt/bdii/etc/schemas: /opt/openldap/etc/openldap/schema/core.schema /opt/glue/schema/ldap/Glue-CORE.schema /opt/glue/schema/ldap/Glue-CE.schema /opt/glue/schema/ldap/Glue-CESEBind.schema /opt/glue/schema/ldap/Glue-SE.schema /opt/lcg/schema/ldap/SiteInfo.schema -- Valentin
