The LONDON Launch of
Oenotrians at Lagaria near Sybaris by Marianne KLEIBRINK
This book, describing the early site at Timpone della Motta, Francavilla Marittima, is important to studies of the relationships between western Greeks and 'indigenous' settlements ('Greek colonisation') in the south of ancient Italy. The site has been identified as the location of ancient Lagaria by Professor Kleibrink
The book was launched in the University of Groningen, Netherlands on September 29th.
It will be sale on THIS EVENING ONLY (Nov 7) at the special price of GBP20, Members GBP15.
A special Launch price of GBP25, Members GBP20, will be available until Dec 31.
From Jan 1, 2007, the standard price will be GBP32, Members 24.
