Like Her" (2005)
Directed by Annie Canavaggio

Liza lives in Kuna Yala, an indigenous
reserve comprised of 350 Caribbean islands off Panama. The Kuna are
known worldwide for the beautiful embroidery that they sew: molas.
In this documentary, the director, Annie Canavaggio immerses
herself in the world of the Kuna where she meets Liza, a master mola maker.
Liza narrates her life and tell us about her joys, sorrows, ambitions and hopes
but above all acceptance in “her world” since not everything is
what it seems… Liza was born a man. She lives a constant
