I am pleased to post the message below on behalf of Ian Maidment, National
Manager - Patient Information, Cancer Services Collaborative 'Improvement
Partnership'

Putting patient information at the centre of health

A modern health service delivers the right care in the right place at the
right time. Waiting times are reducing, patients and carers are now being
given choices about their health care.

The Cancer Services Collaborative 'Improvement Partnership' has developed
and produced national electronic patient information pathways that bring
together a vast range of national cancer resources under one roof. These
pathways provide information to patients, carers and health professionals at
the touch of a button and links are provided to sections on a variety of
national cancer websites. For the first time, people can see at a glance
what is currently available for each tumour at different stages in the
patient pathway. Bookmark the Pathways link and click on the others to find
out more.
