There is a vacancy in the GIS Team for an Information Technician based at Council HQ in Inverness. The main responsibilities of the job are shown below: "The work will include map and report production; data collection, creation, editing and analysis for use with the GIS and conventional spreadsheets/databases; co-ordination of Service web pages; and assistance with all aspects of information provision for the production of Council plans and policies. Much of this work will involve the use of sophisticated computer graphics and database software. You should be qualified to HNC level in GIS, Geography, Planning, IT or a related subject."
