Dear All, Preliminary announcement of the British Geophysical Association Postgraduate Research in Progress meeting for 2006. Please convey this to any postgraduate research students who might not be on this list. ______________________________________________________________________ The 2006 meeting will be on Thursday 31st August-Friday 1st September 2006 at the University of Edinburgh, Grant Institute of Geology. Accommodation has been booked at Pollock Halls of Residence. ______________________________________________________________________ The meeting will follow the same format as previous years, with talks and poster sessions on the latest research carried out by postgraduate students in all aspects of geophysics. There will be a prize for each of the best talk and best poster presentation. Prof Andy Jackson will deliver the Bullerwell Lecture again, since few postgraduates had the opportunity to hear it in March. There will also be a visiting speaker, who will be a research leader in geophysics.
