Dear Dr. Salvador Morales Ruano, The largest fluid inclusions that I have so far seen are in quartz crystals of ca. 10-15 cm size from veins and pegmatites in the ultrahigh-temperature/high-pressure granulite belt of Palghat-Cauvery Shear Zone system in southern India. Fluid inclusions in some of these crystals are several centimeters long and one can see the large bubble with naked eyes in the hand specimen. When you tilt the quartz crystal, the bubble moves from one end of the inclusion cavity to the other, like a "spirit level". If you are interested in procuring a sample, please let me know, to my e-mail address below. Best wishes, Santosh _______________________________________ M.
