Hello all,

I am a film-sound student doing research on movies exploring the theme of computers developing feelings and emotions towards human beings, especially ones where the outcome is not to the human character`s advantage, an extreme case being HAL in Kubrick´s "2001".

I guess artificial intelligence is sort of the keyword here, although I am primarily interested in machines resembling or evolving from computers. The sound design and, to a lesser extent, the art direction are my main objects.

Surely "humanized" computers  vary from film to film, decade to decade, in their various traits, narrative importance and complexity of expression.

Any suggestions for films or particularly significant scenes I should definitely "audioview" ?
