Has anyone mentioned 'The Nasty Girl'? Excellent: on a town, its refusal to address its past and a young girl who insists on digging away. On a lighter note, 'The Miracle of Berne' is a nice film on the rehabilitation of an acceptable nationalism in the period after the war. Both films are highly teachable and eminently watchable.
