For a satirical take on it, Michael Verhoeven's The Nasty Girl (Das Schreckliche Maedchen, 1990)?
Dear all,
I’m putting something together for students on German war guilt, as we have a few who come back from exchange in Germany very interested in it as a social phenomenon. It’s made me realise just how shoddy my knowledge of German cinema is, so I wondered if there were any films from Germany you think I should show?
All the best
