Hal Hartley's *Amateur* (1994) has the two
gangsters constantly talk about the qualities of their new mobile phones.
A very bad film by John Schlesinger from 1995, *Eye
for an Eye* has a very dramatic scene with a mobile phone at the beginning.
I also recommend *Zoolander* and Derek's
obsession for very small mobile phones.
