Hello Group,

I am a media student in the KHM-Academy of Media Arts (Cologne) and in the moment about to commence a project about Slaves Ships (vessel).

The project is related (between other things ) with the famous poem of the poet Heinrich Heine: Sklavenschiff (Slave Ship).

What I am looking is for films that deals -at least in one part of them- with this subject.

Something that will be great to find, are silent movies...

I already have a little list, but I just begin.

By the way,  I am trying to find the Tay Garnett, "Slave Ship" (1937).

I would be really interested and appreciative if anyone would like to offer any opinions, thoughts, observations etc.

Thank you all,

-juan-
