A confluence of papers, video/film essays, screenings and installations at Woburn Square Studios WC1 (The new Slade research centre).

Interval (2) takes as its line of flight philosopher Gilles Deleuze’s terms: "the irrational interval" and “the ruin of representation”, giving attention to the moving image as a site for thought and social transformation. The two day event features the work of film & video artists Janet Cardiff & George Bures Miller, Henry VIII's Wives, Clio Barnard, Stephen Connolly, Karen Mirza & Brad Butler, Nicole Hewitt, Peter Tscherkassky, Steven Eastwood, Mark Aerial Waller, and others, plus a number of papers/film essay presentations, including David Rodowick (author, ‘Gilles Deleuze’s Time Machine), Maria Walsh, (Chelsea School of Art), Duncan Reekie (Exploding Cinema) and Sophia Kosmaoglou (Goldsmiths).
