This Webinar will explore how open-source software can be integrated into an organization's learning or knowledge management systems.

Jenny will talk about some of the types of open source software which are available, advantages of using open-source software and ways your organization may benefit from these types of applications.

The Webinar will include demonstrations of several popular open-source applications and discussing how the applications can be used to build or expand an e-learning or e-business practice by providing the following types of e-knowledge delivery models:

Library models using content management applications like Joomla
Presentation models using blog applications like WordPress or Serendipity
Interaction models using discussion boards like phpBB
Combination models using online classroom applications like Moodle
