Specialist Study Skills Support Tutor Disability and Dyslexia Service We currently have a vacancy for the above post to work at Brunel University to join our existing team of sessional tutors and other support workers. A Tutor will be required to give 1:1 support to dyslexic students and students with other specific learning difficulties who are enrolled on a variety of higher education courses. Main duties will include: • Teaching learning and study strategies • Assisting with organisational skills • Assisting with developing the skills which underpin academic work • Maintaining a teaching log and termly reports • Aiding independent learning and self-management of learning Suitable applicants will have a degree or equivalent, a recognised qualification for teaching students with Specific Learning Difficulties and relevant experience of working with students at HE. Enhanced CRB clearance will be required.
