Discovered this link on the Information Commissioner's web site yesterday. The document does not appear to have been formally announced elsewhere but I may have missed it. It appears to be an expansion of previous guidance on Durant and includes helpful examples of personal data and relevant filing systems. It also includes a FAQ section at the end and a quick guide to understanding relevant filing systems. http://www.ico.gov.uk/cms/DocumentUploads/Durant_27_feb_06.pdf Joshua McKim Compliance and Records Officer The Law Society 113 Chancery Lane London WC2A 1PL Tel 020 7320 5662 (int. 4117) Fax 020 7316 5703 (int. 4274) [log in to unmask] This email is confidential.
