'Operation of CCTV Systems in Shopping Centres, Housing Estates,
Council Premises and any other public place where the object is the
prevention and detection of crime'
The building is Council Owned and maintained and we operate this CCTV for
security reasons. I just feel that if he suspects a crime has taken place
he should report his suspicions to the police initially. Do people study all
their CCTV film every day in every place just in case something happened,
even though no-one has reported it ? I am willing to be corrected but unless
the jeweller's window is smashed or someone holds up the Building Society,
is that CCTV studied 'just out of interest'.
