I had the great fortune to receive advice from Shelagh several years ago
when I first moved into this area of work. She will be sadly missed.

Simon.

Subject: [data-protection] Shelagh Gaskill

It is with great sadness I am alerting the group to the fact
that my colleague, Shelagh Gaskill, died last Sunday after a short
illness. Many of you probably have seen Shelagh in action on the data
protection conference circuit and her no-nonsense, unstuffy approach to
the subject will be greatly missed. Her illness progressed at a shocking
speed and has resulted in the loss of one of the data protection greats.
Her funeral is to be held at Lawnswood cemetery near Leeds next
Tuesday 9 May at 2.20 pm
I am sorry to pass on this really awful news
