The only reference to an Employee Protection Register that I can find on the Internet is with Bridgnorth Council http://www.bridgnorth-dc.gov.uk/static/images/cme_resources/Public/Documents/Best_Value/Improvement_Plans/2004_05/Access_to_Services.pdf. I am quite comfortable with applying DPA to this process, the actual usage of the EPR is a bit more problematic. We wish it to be an on-line report which 'need to know users' can access, to view what they 'need to know'. However we are wondering if we need to restrict each entry to the report just to one data subject, i.e., we probably don't want one person to access the report and view all entries on there because they 'probably don't need to know everyone who is on there and why. I was just wondering how other organisations have handled the employee access to their EPR? Thanks Steve ______________________________________________________________________________________________________ Stephen Cotterill Procurement & Technical Officer x3296 Broxtowe Borough Council Directorate of Finance Council Offices, Foster Avenue, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 1AB Tel: 0115 917 7777 Fax: 0115 917 3577 <http://www.broxtowe.gov.uk/> www.broxtowe.gov.uk DISCLAIMER: This email and any attachments are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual to whom it is addressed.
