Initial induction input and training are all very well but do not account
for simple administrative errors or changes in practices which frequently
occur. Whilst the correct project management of changes should fully update
everybody, organisational pressures do affect if how and when that may be
delivered.

Creating linkages into all of those processes would seem a sensible thing to
do in assuring ongoing DP compliance but quite which responsibilities in
those areas, and where those sit within organisations, will obviously be
reflected in what is perceived externally with the people issues being
suitably juggled by those so inclined.
