Section 10 notice:  My notice (typos are typos) and their reply.  You will
note they refer to a difference service!  I have replied to them telling
them they are incompetent.

I am complaining about the BT SMS Self Service offering that allows any
person with a mobile phone to see when Ilast paid my bill.  This is a total
invasion of my privacy and allows third parties to see data whihc, with data
in or likely to come into their possession can identify me as a unique
living individual.

Thsi is causing me distress.

This notice is served on you under section 10 of the Data Protection Act
1998 and is a notice to cease and desist from processing my personal data in
this manner.

I am required to give you a reasonable period in which to comply.  I choose
seven days from today, Friday 3rd February 2006.

I did not consent to this processing of my data, and was not notified of it.
The processing per se is unlawful.  I have made a formal complaint to the UK
Information Commissioner.
