Having had a look at those cartoons reminds me that about 10 years ago I was doing contract PC Support. I received a booking for one day through an agency and I was told to report to an address in the City. Having reported there I was whisked by taxi or car to the Lanesborough Hotel at Hyde Park Corner. It transpired that my job was to install PC's for an exhibition on Banking Security. The PC's were set up in a basement room without any windows and every move that I made was watched by a security guard sitting in the room. It was one of the scariest experiences certainly in my working life. I realised that they had hired me in this way because I couldn't have had any knowledge of what I was being hired for or where I was going - but I did find it chilling. After all, it is just as well that the client was fairly benign. I know the words data protection and joke don't usually go together..what am I saying yes they do, but just not in the ha ha way rather more in the frustration way, but I digress. I write a monthly newsletter for my team of nation wide data protection coordinators to keep them up to date with what's going on from a data protection perspective in the business and in the privacy news. To try and stop them snoring through the pages I break it up with a few funny stories/case studies. I wondered if anyone knows a source of data protection/privacy orientated jokes/humour. I've done a search on google and funnily enough (no pun intended) there are no hits for data protection jokes.
