There is no privacy about your condition if you are a typical ward with half a dozen beds. You get to hear everything going on, and discussions between the patient and the staff. They even write your name on a board above the bed. Last time I had a stay in hospital, the bed opposite was occupied for a day by a chap who was manacled to a prison officer, even as he was wheeled away to the operating theatre (the consultant wasn't too happy about this, but the officers insisted). If I'd had an Internet connection I'd have been tempted to Goggle the chaps name to see if I could find out what he'd been put away for. -- Roland Perry ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ All archives of messages are stored permanently and are available to the world wide web community at large at http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/lists/data-protection.html If you wish to leave this list please send the command leave data-protection to [log in to unmask] All user commands can be found at : - http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/help/commandref.htm Any queries about sending or receiving message please send to the list owner [log in to unmask] (all commands go to [log in to unmask] not the list please) ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
