I think the relevant DP issue would be the 40 days for a subject access
request. These are calendar days, so whatever arrangements you make would
not affect them either way.

I have just been speaking to a colleague about public holidays.  Not sure
public holidays apply to DP - I am sure someone can advise.

 

Anyway, as far as FoI is concerned as you know, we do not count public
holidays as a working day.  In this Council we forego about 6 public
holidays during the year and add them on to our Xmas Holidays.  What are
your views on this - can I say that the other 6 days are public holidays and
not count them as working days as far as an FoI Request is concerned....
