EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT
Workshop: Demonstrating conformance with eAccessibility
requirements in ICT products and services
27 March 2006  Brussels, BelgiumThere are various ways in which it is possible to demonstrate conformance to eAccessibility requirements, standards and guidelines for a product or service. This workshop will investigate the different methodologies that are available such as self declaration, third party certification or process management. The objectives for the day are: to establish a creative dialogue between stakeholders in this important issue, to identify practical approaches to demonstrating conformance, and to contribute to consensus building around the means to provide eAccessibility conformance within products and services in Europe.

eHealth and eInclusion workshop
15 February 2006  Warsaw, PolandThis workshop is aimed at organizations interested in participating in IST (Information Society Technologies) Call 6 of the European Commission's Sixth Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development (FP6).
The target audience includes service providers, user groups, public authorities, research centres, SMEs and industrial organizations active in the field of eHealth and eInclusion.  Acting as the organizer of this event, the EPIST project intends to boost the EU New Member States and Associated Candidate Countries' participation in FP6 calls for proposals related to eHealth and eInclusion. The event is funded by the European Commission and participation is free of charge.
