Hi All,
Does anybody know why the DIC function is disallowed
when using a Student likelihood function with
stochastic degrees of freedom?
More specifically, I am trying to use a student
likelihood function with normal mean, gamma
distributed precision, and uniform degrees of freedom
but I get a greyed out DIC function.
It all seems to work out as soon as I eliminate the
prior for the degrees of freedom and assign a fixed
value.
