Hi Jen I don't know a way to do exactly what you are looking for, but I have done something similar before using the Batch Enroll Users tool. It involves a bit of copying and pasting in Excel, but is a lot less work than going through each course individually. You will basically need 2 columns in a spreadsheet. In the first put the course id (and replicate this down as far as necessary for all your usernames) and in the second the usernames. You will see that Blackboard tells you to enclose each entry in quotes, but I find you don't need to do that. You would then copy and paste the list of usernames to the next block of rows below for the next course, and repeat this as many times as necessary until you have covered all your courses. You can use the same technique to create staff on a course, but you would need to add a third column with 'P' to give them instructor privileges. Then save the spreadsheet as a CSV file and use the Batch Enroll tool to upload the list. Hope that makes sense. I can email you a sample of a file if you like. At the moment each College unit has a 'course' in Blackboard. This requires staff to enroll students onto each unit individually, which can be very time consuming. Is there any way that staff can enroll students onto one 'umbrella' course which automatically enrols the student onto the various associated units. E.g. Enrolling a student on 'HNC English & Communication' would automatically enrol them on the associated units - 'Interview Skills', 'Editing and Proof Reading', 'Publishing', 'Creative Writing', and so on...
