We had a look at our Bb server the other
day, and found that all the files we deleted went to a recycle bin rather than
being deleted. We had 13 Gb of unwanted files. It might pay to check this and
see if that’s the problem.

Subject: Problems with Blackboard
Launch
Hi all,
At present we are encounting problems with Blackboard.
Everytime we try to launch Blackboard and select login a blank page appears.
Having spoken to the college IT team, they tell me that two courses on
Blackboard have stored too much information, and hence the drive is overloaded.
There is no free space available.
What seems to be happening is that everytime we try and
move some files from one of the courses to free up some space on the drive,
blackboard will work. But then after a short time it it reverts back and does not
launch.
Can anyone tell me if there is anyway in which you can
specifiy where a file or content is stored. By this I mean say for example when
you set up a course and then wish to upload documents, at present you basically
upload the document and Blackboard stores it for you. But what i need to know
is whether i can actually specifiy where the file is stored, the file directory
or location. Can i choose to place the file someone else?
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
