Subject: THE RIVER//CITIES FORUM to be held IN WARSAW ON 22-25 OCTOBER 2006

 

My name is Agnieszka Wlazel and I am the coordinator and initiator of the Cultural Season on the banks of Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland.

 

We have created a co-operation platform for artists, NGOs, cultural institutions and local authorities working on the banks of the Vistula River. Its aim is to build by a common effort the cultural season that connects (substantially and constitutionally) both banks of the Vistula in the summer of 2006.

 

We intend to extend the Season and establish a number of interesting partnerships with other river cities in Europe. That is why we have planed THE RIVER//CITIES FORUM to be held IN WARSAW ON 22-25 OCTOBER 2006.

 

The general purpose of the Forum is to inspire co-operation, cultural planning and to show the best practices of art events placed on the river banks.
