Local studies and archives may be interested to know that The Quaker Meeting Houses of Britain by David Butler (Friends Historical Society, 1999) is now reduced to £25.00 hardback (originally £99) and £15.00 paperback. This 2 volume set is the most comprehensive survey yet and gives details of every Quaker meeting house in Britain from 1652 to the late 1990's (around 1,300) and 900 Quaker burial grounds. Each entry includes research sources and is illustrated with a drawing of the exterior and a ground plan.
