'The Resurgence of Religion in Europe'
 
Location:    Fircroft Centre, Selly Oak, University of Birmingham, UK
 
This Europe-wide conference will discuss the nature and background of the deep changes in the religious realities of modern Europe. There will be three main sub-themes. The first sub-theme will consider the nature and task of 'Islamic "Theology" in Europe'. The second sub-theme concerns 'Christian Migrants and Their Theologies'. The third sub-theme will be 'Inter-cultural Theology and Interreligious Studies in Europe'. 
 
Each of these sub-themes will have a keynote speaker.   Main speakers include:  Andre Droogers, Gavin D'Costa, Kajsa Ahlstrand, Afe Adogame, Garnet Parris, Adamavi-Aho Eku, Fikret Karcic, Jabal Buaban. 

Call For Papers

The conference will contain seminars and workshops where papers will be presented. Abstracts for papers are welcomed from academics and
postgraduates working in the field. Papers should be within the three main sub-themes of the conference and last no more that 15 minutes. It is
expected - subject to the decision of the Editors - to publish these papers in a single volume.
