It is being repeated due to demand, this friday night at The Ritzy in Brixton at 9pm with a talk by the film makers after. It is set among the exiled Tibetan community in Dharamsala in North India and is a good dramatic story as well as a real education about Tibetan's situation under the Chinese. It has won the best of fest award. http://www.picturehouses.org.uk/static/newsletter/latest/ritz.html If you are not aware, the Chinese invaded Tibet in 1959, drove The dalai lama and the Tibetan government into exile in Dharamsala North India, and since then have killed 1.2 million Tibetans, imprisoned and tortured many, destroyed thousands of Buddhist monasteries, sent tens of thousands of Tibetans to labour camps, tried to stop people practising their religion and cultural practices, and kidnapped the Panchen Llama (the successor to the dalai lama who is a small boy).
