The Clinical Trials and Epidemiology Research Unit (CTERU) is a national level organisation in Singapore which undertakes collaborations and provides support to enable clinical trials and related studies to be conducted according to established international standards. This is done by providing expertise in areas such as systematic reviews, study design, project management, data management, statistical analysis and reporting. We are seeking to hire a Head of Biostatistics who will oversee a team of (currently 6) biostatisticians in providing key statistical input for the work of CTERU. Responsibilities: -To manage all biostatistics staff so as to ensure the smooth running of the Biostatistics Department. This includes appraising staff, allocating work and dealing with any problems that arise in the day-to-day functioning of the group. -To work with the CTERU Director and management team in determining the strategic direction and role of CTERU, particularly with regards to biostatistical aspects. -To work with the biostatistics team in providing statistical support and collaboration for clinical trials, teaching and applied biostatistics research.
