The following advert will appear in the Times Higher tomorrow and on jobs.ac.uk Mike Campbell Professor of Medical Statistics The School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR) at the University of Sheffield is looking to further strengthen its position in Health Services Research by creating a new non clinical chair/reader within the Health Services Research Section. We are seeking an academic of international standing who will take a leadership role in the development of Health Services Research and build on its current strengths. The post holder will also contribute to teaching in the School and take a managerial role in the Health Services Research Section. Applicants should have a distinguished publication record in health services research, and an international reputation for outstanding research. They should have a proven track record in generating external research income and demonstrate experience in academic leadership.
