UNIVERSITY OF ABERDEEN SCHOOL OF MEDICINE RESEARCH FELLOW IN MEDICAL STATISTICS A statistician is required to join the Medical Statistics Team located within the Institute of Applied Health Sciences. This is a three-year appointment in the first instance. You will provide statistical support to a variety of projects in Reproductive Medicine, as well as consultancy services to staff in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and to the wider Institute. Where appropriate, this would lead to publications and collaboration on further grant applications. You should have a sound background in statistics. This may be from a PhD or MSc plus post-qualification experience that demonstrates the relevant and appropriate skills and capabilities to operate at this level. Good oral and written communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential. The salary will be paid in the range of £26,915 - £32,137 per annum.
