This company relies on their marketing department and more specifically their marketing analytics division to ensure that the charity raises enough money for research and development. The role is varied involving a mixture of analysis and report writing. Those with skills in any of these areas will be considered. The role will involve both reporting and analysis of the company’s direct marketing campaigns, you will work on a variety of projects such as analysis response to target audiences and analysis of mailing selections. After evaluating campaign responses you will create forecasting models to predict what future marketing campaigns might be most effective. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of data interpretation and have good communication skills in order to explain your analysis in a comprehensible manner. Although not essential, familiarity with one or more of the following packages will be advantageous to your application: - SPSS, Business Objects, Impromptu, Crystal Reporting or similar. You will be an analytical thinker ideally with an understanding of the factors which affect marketing campaigns. Good training opportunities exist for those wishing to develop their skills in any of these areas. A personal training program is also in operation, support and guidance will be given for those wishing to further their marketing knowledge by studying for their IDM diploma. The ideal candidate will have upwards of 2 years experience working as a data analyst and possess a numerate degree Class 2:1 or above preferably in Mathematics or Statistics.
