Hello everyone,

I have 7 groups and I want to compare the means to see whether they are
the same or not. My approach is to use the One way ANOVA and then use the
LSD test to determine which pairs are significantly different from one
another.
My problem is one of the samples, has a high variance. For example, the
data looks like this:

Group 1 34 21
Group 2 30 27
Group 3 40 43
Group 4 50 231
Group 5 43 26
Group 6 35 50
Group 7 20 45

The first value in each line represents the mean of the group whereas the
second value represents the standard deviation.

Is ANOVA still applicable? Or should I use a nonparametric test?
Secondly, what test is the most appropriate one for comparing two means
for subsequent analysis to determine which means differ significantly?
