POSTDOCTORAL FELLOWSHIPS IN EPIDEMIOLOGY AND BIOSTATISTICS

The Department of Medical Epidemiology and Biostatistics has openings 
for up to four post docs with interests in multidisciplinary training 
and research over a broad range of genetic-, cancer-, reproductive-, 
psychiatric and other areas of chronic disease epidemiology as well as 
e-epidemiology and biostatistics. We are looking for young, dedicated 
scholars, keen to integrate knowledge in epidemiologic theory, modern 
biology, IT tools and biostatistics, and to pursue cutting edge 
research. The positions are for 1-4 years.

Presently employing some hundred sixty staff with eleven full professors 
and over 40 graduate students, the Department is one of the biggest 
epidemiology units in Europe. Unique Swedish resources and prerequisites 
- such as the Twin Register, several large prospective studies, ongoing 
nation wide case-control studies, large nation wide databases including 
the cancer register and in-patient discharge register, record linkage 
capabilities and access to clinical data as well as biologic material - 
are effectively explored at the Department. Further information can be
