Hi all
Can anyone advise me please?
I have NEO personality and satisfaction scores on both marriage partners
from 234 relationships. I would like to create couple level satisfaction
scores by taking the average of the female and male satisfaction scores.

To do this, I imagine I need to show that there is no significant difference
between correlations of male partners' personality with their satisfaction,
and the correlations of the female partners' personality with their
satisfaction. Is this correct?

If so, is this where I should Fisher's Z transformation? Why does the
literature also mention Williams T2 test for comparing correlations?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Max
