CONTRACT: Epidemiologist - SAS Specialist Osteoporosis and Cardiovascular Based in the UK 12 month rolling contract Job Summary: Support of senior epidemiology researchers in the planning, collection, and synthesis of epidemiological information for new therapeutic areas and for new products. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: Contribute to the operationalisation of research questions into study designs and statistical analysis plans. Aid in the management of projects with outside researchers. Conduct basic data analyses and / or review of completed analyses and summarise / synthesise results into reports. Collaborate on research publications and scientific presentations. This position will have a focus in the disease areas of osteoporosis and cardiovascular disease. Essential Skills & Capabilities: * Master's degree in Epidemiology with x years of work experience. * Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. * Experience with collaborative epidemiologic research, interest in working as part of a growing team, and be self-motivated. * Experience with epidemiology, clinical trials, and some knowledge of statistical analysis. * x year of programming experience and understanding of databases. * Demonstrated experience with synthesizing data. * Must be experienced with literature reviews and searching web-based sources of disease and vital statistics. * Must also be experienced in using standard office software such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word or similar software * Must have experience with analysis of epidemiologic data. * Demonstrated experience with data synthesis and presentation. Preferred Qualifications: * Doctoral degree in Epidemiology * SAS experience An excellent opportunity awaits for this renewable contract.
