PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE

PLANNING  ASSISTANT

Salary range: £18,571 - £22,111 pa (Under Review)

Planning & Development Office generates the framework for strategic 
planning across the University and monitors the progress in achieving 
strategic objectives and targets.  You will contribute by providing support 
to the Director of Planning and Development and 3 Planning Officers for a 
range of projects, including the development of a programme of internal 
reviews for the Ayr Campus.

Working as part of a team you will provide administrative support for 3 
School Boards and be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of business, 
taking minutes and generally taking forward the planning process with 
relevant Deans.  There will also be scope to prepare quantitative and 
qualitative analyses to support this work.

It is essential that you have a Degree (Business or equivalent background), 
or an HND plus experience within an administrative, numerate or analytical 
role.  You must be highly numerate and have excellent communication, 
organisational and IT skills.  Ideally you will have an aptitude for 
learning more specialised software packages and be able to analyse 
information in order to prepare clear reports and/or projects.

This post is available for a fixed term period of two years.
